When you apply online, we prepare all necessary forms for you. Only $500 equity is required to open your PennTrade account. This initial deposit can be met with cash, equivalent securities or any combination of the two. Accounts can be funded by personal check or by transferring securities from another brokerage. We cannot accept cash or a credit card number as a means of funding an account.
